The “Pat Edgar Education Consultancy” was first established in 2001 and offers consultative services to the State, Catholic and Independent sectors in Australia. Based in Brisbane, Queensland, the consultants provide stimulating and practical professional development to schools and lead them in implementing a whole school design approach to improving literacy outcomes for all students.
 This consultancy is the source for schools to bring about change in pedagogy and to ensure ‘best practice’ prevails. A variety of professional development opportunities are offered including courses for Teachers and Teacher Aides, workshops, conference days and a Coaching Strategy in schools.
The success of this consultancy is attributed to the high quality, practical, classroom oriented professional development and the recognition that the consultants are exceptional change agents.
