Teacher Aides
The role of the Teacher aide has changed dramatically over recent
years. They are required to work in classrooms with small groups of
students and in intervention programs for literacy and numeracy. They
are not teachers but they are required to teach and support on a daily
basis our most at risk students. It is imperative we provide our Teacher
Aides with the toolkit they require to maximise student outcomes. This
consultancy provides Teacher Aides with the effective training and
professional development they require to ensure the best outcomes for
our students are achieved. We will continue to extend the Teacher
Aides repertoire of practices through providing continuing contact
with a variety of topics that are relevant to their role.
