This two hour workshop specifically focuses on supporting middle years teachers in implementing a consistent structured approach to improving the reading of all students in their classroom. The Four Resources Framework and a whole - part -whole approach to the teaching of reading is advocated using a continuum of support which includes the instructional approaches of Modelled, Shared, Guided Reading and Cooperative and Collaborative strategies.
